Beautiful resort in the middle of no where. Sauna and steam room tiny, dinner could be better. Breakfast spread was excellent!

The cool and serene atmosphere; a place far away from the noise and pollution of cities, eco-friendly buildings, and the surrounding rainforests are plus points of Taj Madikeri.

The dinner at ferntree was belo par. However, the breakfast was generous and scrumptious.There were lot of activities like hiking, kayaking and zipline for those who love adventure.

The villa rooms were very spacious, and offered 2 bathrooms. The view was magnificent. The pool was temperature controlled. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We loved the hiking and the trekking. The guides were very knowledgeable and patient with the city people :))

The property is beautiful and could be great if some logic and thought went into the day to running of all the facilities Nikhil who served us at the grill was incredible, he was the only stand out person who really looked after all his guests

It was very hard to get around No site tour so while not easily being able to get a buggy we also had no way to work out on day one what was where. Not all facilities operational which is not ideal for a property of this caliber and cost. Steam room not working in ladies area next to the indoor pool Outdoor pool by the grill not functioning day one and on the second day it was only make available when we instructed the team member there to set up bedsNo managers visible throughout

It is a magical place, from nature walks to the rooms, food, the spa, and everybody's care. We are already planning to go back. Local culture and care for nature is extra bonus.

The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

The breakfast was show stopper. Such amazing variety! Options they have cater to all ages. And the staff is super helpful when taking care of your needs. If you need packed breakfast, that's arranged too. Their Jalebi's were out of the world.

Everything was good. I did raise the slippery moss part outside our room, in rainy season it can be dangerous with eldery around, who can slip and hurt themselves.

The location and the views from the property are just amazing. The place itself feels like nestled in a forest on the hills. We did not go out of the property for the two days that we stayed there. The staff is wonderful and the food is great too. A very sumptuous breakfast and the dinner at The Grill was a wonderful experience too. The rooms are quite spread apart over the property and it requires you to call a buggy service every time you have to move within the property since the terrain is not very walking friendly with lots of steep up and down slopes in. But the buggy service is very quick and we received one every time within 10 mins of requesting it.

The quality of food was really good. It was really hygienic food.

We were two adult and two kids. We had Dinner included + breakfast in package. When we set for dinner they said we cant take more than 2 dishes in main course. Very surprising. How can we manage two people food with two dishes. Even in the breakfast we asked them to provide 8 Paratha and they said they can provide only 4 .. Simply surprising..

Excellent location; nice & secluded. Had been on my to-do list for many years, glad to have this covered. My immediate reaction at check-in was that I'll visit this property again-and-again, but by the time I was checking-out, I would say I wasn't so sure about that. Read on for details. The property is absolutely fantastic, a ton of thought has gone into planning the entire resort. Few cottages, nicely spread apart, great set of activities that keep the kids busy, good spa (as usual), fair spread of food morning noon & night Great views & a Fantastic room

The staff doesnt answer intercom - happened twice during the short stay. Incredibly frustrating Buggy wait times are a bit much, but this is still understandable. Lastly, I requested for an hour's extension to my check-out (due to a spa appointment) which was turned down. The morning trek turned out to be one big condescending monologue versus a peaceful trek in the hills

Superb location , views and activities. Food was exceptional . Staff - right from reception, drivers , housekeeping , restaurant, F&B, cleaners, activity center staff - everyone was exceptional and awesome ! Great experience all through

The breathtaking views from all directions and the peace and tranquillity significantly enhanced the overall experience. Additionally, the hotel offers well-planned activities for children, ensuring a memorable stay for families. The staff members were consistently smiling and helpful, thus adding a positive touch to the guest experience.

The outdoor breakfast area was indeed beautiful, but the indoor space left much to be desired as it was uncomfortably hot and lacking in character. There was a noticeable shortage of coolers or fans, suggesting that the hotel may not be adequately equipped for hot weather conditions. Additionally, due to its location on hilly terrain, guests depend on internal transportation provided by the hotel, such as jeeps or golf carts. However, the average waiting time for this transportation is 10 minutes, and during meal times, it can extend beyond 20 minutes.Moreover, the staff appeared to be inexperienced, resulting in various errors from reception to the dining area.

The concept of spending time in the forest was wonderful. We also really enjoyed the food, and the restaurant staff were amazing. The rooms were spacious and with very nice views. The pool facility was also very nice.

The reception and check-in were not the best. Since there was no formal check-in we had to wait long in the lobby, after a long road trip this wait can feel longer than it is and this could have been handled better. I wish the games room and the pool remained open for longer hours.

Room was dirty. No view at all. Long wait for baggis. In middle of no where room. Spiders on dining table. Tasteless food. Pathetic drive to the property. 5 KMs of no roads.
